When do you start decorating for fall?

Right after labor day the decorations go up.

I actually don't. I decorate some for Christmas and have a ceramic Halloween haunted house that a friend gave me that I put out in late October, but except for Christmas, our house stays the same year round.

I don't really decorate for seasons or holidays other than Christmas.

I do have a wreath that I change out that's on my front door for the seasons.

I have a few Halloween things I put out the week before Halloween.

I do not change my decor with the season I change out my bed quilts once we have the first chilly spell

I keep our home the same year round except for Christmas. I got tired of storing a lot of seasonal decorations and I love the feeling of having less stuff to deal with.

I don't go all out for fall. I put up a wreath, a door mat, a few doo-dads here and there and change my mugs on my mug tree to plain fall colors.

I won't do that until at least the first day of fall, possibly not until the first weekend in October. I will also buy some mums for my front porch and some pumpkins for the porch as well.

Mums are already out everywhere but last year I bought them too early so by the time it was officially fall, the flowers were all off them. LOL

Close to Oct...since we are still in the 100's earlier. Hard to feel fall-ish when it is 100 or more.

When I'm ready to get rid of my summer flowers, I will replace them with some mums. But that won't be for a few weeks yet.

I don't decorate for fall but I am thinking about getting a couple of things.

I am not really sure what to buy so I end up not getting anything.

I wind up letting the sunshine,fall leaves and the sky do the decorating for me.

I love this time of year!

A plant, some mini pumpkins in a bowl, a scented candle, a small wreath, most of these things don't take up much room. Enjoy!!!

I think these will make my mom happy!She works from home and doesn't get out as much as she used to and she loves fall.

She said she was sad that she wouldn't be out driving and seeing all the fall decor.

...not until Fall comes. I go into Fall mode around the middle of September. If we have a really warm, summer-like September, I wait until it feels like fall.

Got a lovely fall canvas print yesterday that looks like Robert Woods but not near as good but the color are lovely and is a fall scene. Then I got a wreath I had and put in extra flowers with the same colors, so I have begun!

I don't do that much. Mostly fall stuff pumpkins and gourds. I do put out a couple Halloween stuff but that is for the ammustment for my grandson. I purchased a glitter scull with a tiara which he will hate and a scull with red lights in the eyes that will light up with my timer. That one he will love.

I was looking at the weather forecast and the temps are going to plummet the week after Labor Day, so that's when I'm going to do it! Can't wait!!
