The army corps of engineers are opening the flood gates to flood farmers fields and hope to lessen the floods in more populated areas. While I understand this is necessary I'm sure it is heartbreaking for the farmers. Their crops for this season, their livelihood , will be gone. This entire weather business this year is just so awful. tomarrow while your at church, remember a prayer for these poor farmers as their sacrifice to help their fellow man is great.
