WHAT LITTLE QUIRK.....

does your DH or SO have that really annoys you? I will ask "what would you like for dinner"? Answer "I don't care, whatever you feel like fixing". I will say " how about ... and ..." He will then say "how about ... and ..."? Why not just suggest that in the first place? Same for "what would you like to do today" and so on. Minor, I know, but annoying!

He will ask me what shoes he should wear or what tie or something. I just get dressed and never ask anybody what I should wear. Lol

When my husband washes his hands, he picks up the liquid soap, squirts it in his hand, then sets the bottle down facing backwards! Drives me absolutely nuts!

The way he puts the dishes to dry in the dish-rack. It'll be a plate, then a cup, then a bowl, then a lid, then 2 more plates, then one mug in the middle. (a row of this)

I put all the plates in by size, bigger in the back to smaller in the front, then with bowls and all cups/mugs off to the side in the rack so when it's dried you can grab one big stack of plates to put away at once. It just seems like my way makes more sense, a time saver.

DH is color-blind, so every time he gets ready for work, etc., he asks "Does this match"? I tried to explain that black, brown or gray slacks go with almost every shirt he owns. Guess he is more fashion conscious than I thought.

I stopped cooking years ago. DH was between jobs and I was working full time, so he began cooking and seemed to like it so it's continued.

My pet peeve is he'll ask in the morning, what do you want or dinner? I have no idea! On Sunday, I was taking a lovely afternoon nap and he actually came in and asked me if I was hungry. I was fast asleep!

I had the same issue, so before I go to bed I just put out a shirt and pants for the next day.

Husband's hearing is slipping. He even has hearing aids now but doesn't wear them at home. Sometimes he makes up what he thinks I said. I can tell by his answer that he didn't hear me. I'll say.... 'What do you think I said?"" He'll give me a sheepish look.

2 things. Really not a big deal but....

1. He takes the trash (2X a week) and recycle (1X a week) barrels out obsessively after work (245 to 345 PM) when they come the next morning. Then if we have more (and we always do!) he runs more out all night and in the morning back and forth. IMO he should just take it ALL out before bed OR in the morning since hes up at 4AM. Why make numerous trips? lol.

2. Also he does the same thing every day after work like clock work. He comes in puts his lunch bag/thermos down, goes through the mail, shreds junk mail, writes bills, then goes up and shaves, (he showers at work), then does other little chores (see above trash) etc. He has done this since I know him in complete order. Its like For ONCE I wish he would come in from work and just sit and rest 5 minutes since hes been on his feet ALL day walking miles!

If these 2 things are disturbed in any matter he gets beside himself like he has to go do the stuff kind of like OC.

But otherwise I must say my husband is not like most men and for that I am grateful. He does NOT throw stuff around the house, not even clothes or shoes. And he cooks a lot and puts dishes in dishwasher, etc the list goes on. So I cant complain!
