Comfortable shoes

Need help in finding a shoe/ sandal to wear for a Disney Trip. Not interested in tennis shoes at all. I have some foot issues due to chemo so my feet are sensative. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have lots of foot problems associated with surgery for a torn ligament in 2002. I have been wearing nothing but Naot shoes and sandals for the past few years and my feet feel better in these than in any other shoes. We just got home from a week at Disney World where I walked between 10 and 13 miles each day (I always wear my fitbit) and my feet felt fine the whole time. Naots are expensive (I get them from Zappos) but I wouldn't wear any other brand. Have fun at Disney World!!!

Nike: has wonderful walking shoes

Alternatively, have a couple pairs of shoes to change into. Finding one pair of shoes that will feel great to wear all day doesn't usually work.

I don't know who thinks 'tennis' shoes were ever comfortable for walking any distance.

I find Cole Haan Air are always comfortable for me.

I have pretty good luck with Born, also.

6PM has great prices on Naot.

Footsmart.com has a good selection of footwear in a wide range of sizes and widths. Many styles are designed specifically for certain foot problems (I am diabetic).

OrthaHeel (Holly in gold). I average 10k steps a day and did a 15K/day for one week in July. I don't wear sneakers to walk. I have a high arch and the bottoms of my feet are somewhat sensitive. These shoes are my go to.

Unfortunately they are discontinued, but I have 4 brand new pairs in waiting and 3 pairs I'm wearing now. They last a long time. I just can't get them soaking wet or supposedly it'll ruin the foot bed. I do wipe them with antibacterial clothes almost daily.

My advice: get them early and wear them in with a lot of walking to make sure they are "the" ones for you.

The Walking Company and FootSmart websites both have great choices and you can pick from a list of "issues" that you have as a filter.

I, personally, cannot stand closed in shoes for walking all day. Hot feet, closed in feet bother me.

I like my birkenstocks. I like orthaheel too, but they are not as secure on my foot-- which is important for me for a lot of walking--and DW requires a lot of walking. I like shoes that I do not know I am wearing--

Keen shoes are perfect for Disney. They are open, can breathe, comfortable, and are secure in your foot.

I have very wide feet with arthritis in my toe joints. I can't wear anything that has a seam on top. My favorite is Clarks. Can't remember the style number or name, but it's leather, closed toe and has a decorative button on the side. Looks like you have several options here. Let us know what you chose and how it worked for you.

The most comfortable shoes that I have ever had on my feet are Clarks Unstructured Un-Loop. Not the prettiest shoe but the best shoe I have ever had. I can walk for hours in those things. You can get them for less money on Amazon or at Shoebuy with a coupon than here. Just make sure they are from the Unstructured Line. There area other Clarks that look similar but they are not this shoe. They have so bendables that look like them but they are not the same. In fact, I just got a Navy pair on Amazon for around $60. That was a total deal considering the shoe retails at $120.

Tansy: Unless they changed in the past few months, no. I don't have a Zappos account but when I order I still get free overnight shipping. They usually send an email saying "You've been upgraded to overnight free shipping". lol

I just ordered a pair of Naots in May or June and got them overnight, free shipping.
