I had no idea it was her until I saw her name on the screen. Wow. I think it had less to do with any surgery she had and more to do with the rough life she's had, especially after that rape. She's got a lot of miles on her.

My grandparents loved her.

They had an album of her singing all Italian songs.

I grew up listening to and singing those songs.

I ain't watched the factor yet tonight but I DVR all his shows. Will check it out as Connie was always one of my favorite singers. Her voice and the late Karen Carpenter were ones I could listen to for hours. Soft and smooth they were years ago.

Me too...but you can barely understand Connie now...her speech is very strange now...as though her mouth has trouble moving.
