Do you immediately think it's because she feels you are (or look) old and need a seat? Or, perhaps she is just being nice, since she's getting up to leave and thought you might like a seat? I am doing a behavioral study for a class I'm taking and wonder what the average woman feels about this kind of situation. </P> <P>This doesn't include men giving up seats, since some guys are just inclined to do it, no matter how old a woman is.
