topic Best Cat Food - Wet or Dry? in Community Chat

I have two beautiful calico cats but unfortunately one of them is very overweight (18#) while the other one is normal weight (11#). I have been feeding them Eukaneuba Weight Control but obviously it's not working! Our vet(s) don't have much to recommend saying that once a cat gains weight, it's hard to get it off!

I have been reading up on the benefits of feeding wet cat food (more water, more protein, and less carbs). Is it best to go completely wet or do a mixture of wet and dry? Are there particular brands that are especially healthy for cats (less carbs and fillers)? Any responses would be appreciated!
