My thread from last night is gone.

I guess the new rules are we can't discuss recent happenings in the news. I didn't know talking about a missing girl was a no no. I'll keep that in mind in the future. We had great discussions here about what was in the news and happenings all over the world. I can understand censoring inappropriate comments but if we can't talk about breaking news it won't be much fun coming here anymore.

Didn't you see the survey about the boards? One of the questions was do you want the list of members currently on the board to remain or taken off and the voters said take it off. So now you will have no way of knowing if the people you like are posting at any given time, personally I don't understand why people would vote to have it removed.

No I haven't...you're just being rude....the new rule is they are enforcing the rules that have been here. Obviously the O/P missed what happened to her thread.

I don't care one way or the other, I never used the feature (so I don't care that it's gone), but some people were using it to stalk other users and harass them. It's one of those cases where the few spoiled it for the many, and why we can't have nice things.

A few brought this on to the masses. What I think is hilarious is that we are being monitored by awesome twenty-somethings - kids young enough to be our children/grandchildren - priceless!

Voyager ~ I was referring to inocuous threads/topics.....some OP's get out of control while others are having intelligent conversations....Now instead of inappropriate statements being poofed, the entire thread is deleted.

I've been reading the threads today.& yesterday. Imo it's same as usual.They let some of the threads stay up a while.& did remove a few posts on a couple other threads.People are just looking for something "new" imo (:

That hasn't changed, though. They always deleted entire threads rather than inappropriate statements. I think some webbies are more heavy-handed than others, and always have been.

The poll asked what we wanted them to do, and I thought a majority said to remove posts, not threads.
