If no one ever saw you you'd still wear it?

I often wonder if some women wear MU even when they are doing things like cleaning the basement, gardening , or painting the house all by themselves.

I do. My morning routine when I'm not working is to get up, have breakfast, shower, do my hair and makeup. That's even before I decide what I'm doing for the day. I'm a fairly spontaneous person, so that way I'm ready for whatever comes my way.

I don't understand the faux tan craze. A couple of hosts slather it on. They look like old, sun beaten, wooden tables. There is nothing prettier than your own natural skin tone. All you need is SPF lotion.

Nothing is wrong with it. But most women wear makeup of some type that they feel enhances and improves what they've already got. Do you wear any lip gloss, lipstick, etc on your lips? If so, I have to ask "What's wrong with your natural lip tone?"

Do you wear mascara? If so..."what's wrong with your natural lash length?" If you don't wear any cosmetics...good for you...my sister doesn't and she always looks nice.

It's a personal choice. I don't criticize anyone who does, or doesn't.

My question is why do we women feel the need to apply skin colored liquid on our faces. Once upon a time women used a powder compact and a lipstick and that was makeup.

I do use foundation but not every day. Just curious.

I wouldn't use liquid makeup at all if it weren't for broken caps and redness and other issues like this. I am very fair and don't use makeup to try to change the color of my complexion. If I had really good skin, I wouldn't use makeup. I'd probably use a dab of powder to just cut the shine. I envy people with good even skin-tone.

I think people who have natural tans and don't have to struggle to get them, look beautiful. I envy those who are able to acquire a nice golden glow to their arms and legs. It's lovely.

I, however, cannot, and am very fair. I have accepted it,and that is that.

I have no problem with anyone who wants to use faux tanning. I have done it in the past. Although I think it is a pain to mess with!

I used to use a self tanner on my chest, arms and legs, but was never crazy about the results and it was a pain to do. I have finally decided that I am ok with my natural color. I do wear foundation, but not everyday, only if I am going out. I have broken caps also. I did discover Sally Hansen air brush make-up for legs and I really like that. They don't look tanned just evens out the my skin tone and no smell. I really don't see too many people sporting a tan now a days. Just the younger girls.

I only wear makeup when I am not going anywhere except I do use blush all the time. I have fair skin. I do use foundation when I am out. All my life I use plain ole soap and water on my face and follow it with Lancôme moisturizer. I have very few wrinkles.

I use a bb cream with a physical 30 SPF as my foundation. I just like how it looks on me much better than any foundation I've tried. They all seem too heavy.

I'm pretty fair and am not a fan of faux tanning. It can look nice at first (if it doesn't turn orange), but it doesn't wear well, the upkeep is a nuisance, there's the problem of the color settling in elbows, knuckles and knees, and then there's that awful telltale smell.

I embrace my natural color and just try to keep my skin in the best condition possible.
