Yes, and to me, that is young. He and his wife fought tirelessly for gun control for many, many years.

He was an amazing man, and his wife is an amazing woman.

Rest in peace, Mr. Brady, you did a lot of good in this world and you were such a brave survivor.

I will never forget that day..the Secret Service hustling Regan away as the camera showed James Brady, lying on the ground in his own blood... It is indelibly etched in my mind... God bless the Brady's......

I'm so sorry to hear this, but at least the dear man isn't suffering any more. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. He was a true hero.

I remember seeing the video news showing this shooting of him and the President. He had a difficult life after that and it was/is a shame.

While I disagree with the "Brady Bill(Law)" re guns, I had great respect for him and President Reagan.

Condolences to all that loved Secretary Brady and I thank him for his service to our country in the United States Marine Corps during the War in Korea.

My late mother would have said "...and he is going straight to heaven."

What he has suffered, and what he and his family have done to raise awareness of the need for gun control, have made him a hero rather than a victim.

I was so sorry to hear the news. Sarah Brady was relentless in her work to save others from the heartbreak she and her family suffered.

They were a remarkable couple together. I am sure she will keep up the good fight they so gallantly fought side by side.

Jim and Sarah Brady have done good work. They took a horrible experience and turned it into a beneficial, educational program that has saved countless lives and helped prevent other terrible injuries. May he rest in peace, in the arms of the angels.
