i am not greek but have a great love for greece and greek foods.

i'm obsessed with their dips of tarama, melitzansolata and tzatziki.

have you ever been to greece?

I'm not Greek in heritage but have some Greek and Turkish friends, and a love in my heart for the Greek people and the food. Your pictures are making me drool, especially the Pastitsio and Baklava. I have fond memories of making trays of Baklava when I was helping our Turkish friends who had a restaurant. Every year they participated in a food festival at the end of summer, and they needed all the help they could get to be prepared. I could do it with my eyes closed, and gosh her recipe was perfect... yum! I now live in a small city and there isn't a single Greek restaurant in town.

Beautiful pictures....thanks for posting. I saw the movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for the first time last night on Showtime and one of the girls went to Greece. Gorgeous scenery.

Catlover, you're killing me, the photos are awesome, both the views and the foods yum.

I had a Turkish neighbor yrs ago that use to bring me a nice plate of Baklava each time she made it. I loved her.

eta~ Do you make a good gyro? Those are so good, oh and a good Greek salad anytime!
