Viewpoints could be a great place to come to if only we could give our "viewpoints". I think it would work if we had some mature webbies who knew where to draw the lines and did not let their own opinions interfere. There could be a warning system in place for those going overboard. "Overboard" needs to be very defined and specific. When that is set in motion and being enforced and you find that you still can't take the heat or just don't want to that day, then simply "get out while the "gettingsgood"! I just don't understand......How hard is that"?????????

I like to come to viewpoints and mix it up a little with others, but I go away at times because I get tired of good topics getting taken down. I know it is Q's site, and they can run it however they want, but if you are going to offer up a category like Viewpoints, then lets get to it and have some actual opinions left standing. Sometimes coming here and posting just feels like a waste of time, because it isn't going to be left standing anyway.

I never see any ""Viewpoints"" topics listed under 'view all categories'. I always have to select it separately and I don't understand why.

I always click on recent threads when I log in. It doesn't seem like it's working the last couple days. I've noticed sometimes it's not underlined.

thanks all. just checked my preferences,,,didn't eveb see "recent/most popular",,,and I know I've seen it before. anyway, it seems okay today, go figure??

Hi, misspammie! It's not in your "preferences" settings. It's toward the top of the page, just above the first thread.

Where it says: Sort by: Popular Threads Recent Threads

If you click on "Popular Threads," you're going to see some really old ones, even some with the commenting period closed.

I've wondered the same thing others asked: why do they offer that choice? I think all it does is confuse us when we select it by mistake.

I always have it set on Recent Threads. I just switched to Popular Threads, and it goes by how many posts are on the thread. Highest number of posts equals highest position. It's interesting the popular way because I found some threads that weren't popular but were interesting.

It just shakes up our "Viewpoints Experience" a little bit
