Viewpoints Comes in Handy Playing Trivia

I go to Trivia Night a couple of times per month and this board has come in handy on many occasions.

Tonight there was a question on Archie Andrews' death, the word "loggia" and James Garner. All three topics were discussed on Viewpoints this week and I was able to help my team get those questions right.

Soooo.....my thanks to those members who have helped to add to my sometime seemingly "useless information" files.

you must be like me----I consider my ""knowledge"" (not wisdom nor my area of training) : a mile wide and an inch deep ---LOL ----congratulations on scoring big!!!

I like that expression.....never heard of it. LOL

We didn't win...came in 4th out of 9 teams, but we always have fun. It's amazing how much I can contribute though, just from reading here.

i love doing trivia games. i try to get a few friends or a small group together at least once a month and go to the restaurants and/or bars that have them. it is especially good if i bring my mom and at least one child.....it helps when their are several generations as part of a team.

Not at all, sylvia.

I agree with your statements. I always said I was full of useless information.....and sometimes it comes in handy.

sunshine....we're a well rounded group as far as age goes.

Sometimes I'm amazed at all the useless information I know. DH hits me up all the time to help him with his crosswords.

I go to trivia once a week. We always place high enough for the season to get an invite to the national championship. We know we're not good enough for that - beating the drunks in the local bar is one thing...
