The porcelain throne

I call it a toilet. My parents call it a "stool" which I think is so weird.

Anyone else know people who call it "stool" or are they just crazy?

toilet.....never heard stool before.

have heard potty, commode, porcelain god, and outhouse.

""stool"" and ""Davenport"" are both very Midwestern terms. My older relatives used both.

Never heard of anyone saying stool. I call it a toilet. You just made me think of my dad. He used to say hes going to the backa the house instead of the bathroom or hed joke its the best seat in the house!. lol. (My dad was always funny, the bathroom wasn't in the back of the house, it was upstairs).

My mom has always called it the John, which I've learned that men named John...they're not too happy about that.

Your parents are crazy ? I don't think so.

There's a commercial that gives all sorts of terms for a toilet.

My nan still calls it the loo and one of my granddads refers to it as the WC because he spent a lot of time in Europe.

I have called it a stool/throne/head/commode and even a pot. Now when I was in the US Army? Can't say the word some used.

Don't see your parents as crazy at all.

Never heard that one but my friend's mom calls a couch/sofa a divan? I don't even know how to spell it.

We call it the stool and I'm from Kansas. My grandma called our couch a davenport and she was from Iowa.
