Last Edited Message Gone?

Has anyone else noticed that when you edit your post, the 'last edited' comment no longer appears? When I first noticed it last weekend, I thought it was because I was posting from my tablet, but now that I'm on my computer it's doing the same thing.

Yes that notation no longer appears. Looks like Edita has also retired.

I thought that might be the case, LOL. I don't know when this happened, but I just noticed it a few days ago. I'm online much less in the summer, so that could be why.

I'm probably in the minority (so what else is new?), but I don't like the fact that there's no indicator when we edit our own posts. I'd prefer to know if someone changed their comment(s) and I have no problem with it being clear when I've done so.

I am glad they eliminated the "Edita" malarky, though.

It would be better if the "edit" shows up when we edit our own posts. A poster was taken to task when she did, in fact, edit her mistake. Since another poster jumped to conclusions about her without seeing the "edit", it made for another round of contention, totally not needed.

But there were so many posts that ""we"" didn't edit that showed up as edited that everyone got blamed for things that ""they"" did or didn't do. There is a no win on that unless we state that we edited it ourselves.

Preds: that's right but that situation no longer happens. "Edit" doesn't show up at all now when we, ourselves, edit our own posts. That causes a problem because something is read, someone else goes off on a tizz about it, and in the meantime the 1st poster has already made a correction.

That's the new problem now.

I guess I am in the minority here. I could care less either way..

If the Edited stayed or not..I wouldn't be surprised if there was a glitch in the system and that is why it appeared on posts that we did not edit, and they just did away with it..
