When you bathe, do you use a bar of soap or body wash?

And if you use a bar of soap, do you lather it up on a wash cloth first or just rub it all over your body? When you are done bathing, do you leave your hair stuck to your soap or do you clean it off?

I use a bar of soap and a wash cloth. I do not leave hair stuck to the soap. I'm sorry, I just think that is gross. Do any of you have this problem? Do other people in your house do this? And when you use the bathroom behind them, you're stuck looking at their hairy bar of soap?

I used to leave my soap behind on the side of the bathtub whenever I was through bathing, but I cleaned it off and made sure it was hair-free so that I wouldn't gross the next person out who happened to bathe and see my hairy bar of soap that I left behind.

I'm not cleaning hair off the soap! I'm NOT the one who left it there! I'm just throwing all the bars of soap away and everybody can use...... uh-uh, that's gross, who wants to use a bar of soap that has hair all over it.... and not even their own hair. I don't even want another person's hairy soap in the same shower with me. Bleck!

Buy a different brand of bar soap for each person. No questions, no obligations. Each can tolerate or clean their own bar, their choice.

Thank you. I'm getting about angry going behind people in this house who leave their hair all over the soap. It's gross, do they think that other people LIKE bathing with a bar of soap that you left your hair all over? Yuck! Don't come to my house, take a bath and leave your hair all over the bar of soap. People don't want to clean that up after you!

When I use my rose fragrance I use rose soap and rose shower gel and rose lotion........otherwise I use a natural bar and body wash also in honey almond or vanilla or a citrus scent. I love to wash with a rose bar of soap.........Vermont Country Store Rose Soap........I hope we get a good store in our town like TJ MAXX or something. I love soap.

my dermatologist told me to use Cetaphil Skin Renewing body wash---I live in a very dry part of the country and I have extremely dry skin---I use shampoo on my hair

Costco sells a tall bottle of Neutrogena bath wash, often marked down a few dollars. The gold colored wash is suitable for males and females. It lasts a long time and you'd have no hair issues on bars.

Quit leaving your whisker hairs all over the bathroom sink! It's gross. We only have one bathroom and other people live here besides you! We all have to share this bathroom and no one wants to clean up your nasty body hairs!

Some people are so....... inconsiderate. This person CAN clean up after herself and she chooses not to. It's gross.

It doesn't do any good. The gross people around here just want to be gross. That's why I'm throwing all the bars of soap away and will now only buy bottles of body wash. It's disgusting.

I don't want chest hair, or wisker hair, or ANY type of hair sprinkled all over my bathroom sink. If you want to live like a slob, go live somewhere else. I have no business cleaning up your nastiness and you shouldn't want me too. That's sick. I don't leave my used feminine hygiene products lying around in the bathroom, so why do you think you can leave your body hair lying around. It's gross!!!!!!!!

You know I'm getting little concerned that it bothers you this much!

I can actually think of far worse things than a little hair. But, we all have our triggers!

The SO and I both like body wash, his though, is a very strong, manly scent, which I really don't care for, too much pine or something, makes me think after his shower, he's going to scrub the floor with it.

And he hates it, if he showers after me, and i've used, for instance a Philosophy food scent.

He told me, once, it smelled like I'd been eating apple pie or something, in the bathroom I guess he thought that would be kind of disgusting!

Luckily, none of our shower scents really linger, out of the shower. We wouldn't much want to be around each other

Speaking of Vermont Country Store - They used to have a brand of Carnation soap....3 round bars in a box. I think they have discontinued them though. I use them in drawers.

They were floral and spicy and ""pink"" smelling - all at the same time.
