I never had a problem logging in.

Did someone try to get into your account? I was notified by them a few years ago that someone out of the country was trying passwords.

To make it even stranger, I had to verify my friends pics and if I got them right by name, I could then change my password.

It was weird.

I have no idea! And the email that they used was NOT the one I use for FB.

You might want to change yor Facebook password, just to be safe. Use a strong password, something that has letters and numbers, but not in any kind of order. Something like beu4ctgb
