Could be. I guess a ""reported"" notification would carry more of a ""bad dog"" chastisement rather than just ""edited"".

They've been doing a lot of housekeeping on the site (so at least all that down time meant they really were doing something). The shopping parts of the site look different (bigger, greener boxes for a start).

I can see even bigger problems if a poster edits their post and it isn't reflected as being edited, particularly with posts that are quoted able to be edited by whomever is quoting. No way to tell then if the quoted post was changed by the original poster or the quoting poster.

As for the edited appearing when a post is reported I'm glad that is gone.
