holiday lights behind window

Okay, I'll try to explain as best as I can- a few years ago I saw an image of Santa Claus lighted through the inside window which can be projected to the outside. Kind of a cool decoration. I assume it is a pic and lighted from within but it glows quite bright. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I guess you can do this with any holiday. I googled with words to explain to no avail. Can anyone help?

I had one. It's a small projector. You put these small picture round discs in them.

Santa looks real. My discs were cartoonish.
