Esquire.com is reporting that George Clooney's Aunt Starla thinks that her nephew will choose his friend Brad to do the honors. Boy will that be a bachelor party!

I heard it reported that Pitt was going to be the best man. News outlets have been wrong before, though. I also heard they were going to marry in Italy which surprised me, as the Downton Abbey castle was favored to be the location.

I think Cindy Crawford's husband is his best friend. They own businesses together and vacation together, living next door to each other in Mexico.

He's very close to his Dad and I think that would be so sweet. He owns a lovely home in Italy so why not get married there? Not sure I understand the Downtown Abbey connection???

Linders, supposedly George's fiancée is a huge fan of Downton Abbey, so it was rumored that George was looking into a destination wedding at the castle. It would have been a dream come true for his fiancée.

Thanks, TG, I didn't know that. I'm sure it could be arranged. I think many of those large estates in the UK rent out for functions to help pay for upkeep and as long as the wedding date didn't conflict with filming the show, I'm sure Highclere is no exception.

News organizations have it wrong all the time. I read a mag two weeks ago that said the wedding was off. I want to be anywhere George Clooney & Brad Pitt are in the same room together.
