I saw the last few minutes of the show tonight. They've only been married about 5 or 6 years.

I adore this family,tears flowing here not a dry eye in the house specially when Jen said her vows. Bill did a fantastic job surprising Jen from the proposal to the dress he had made to all her loved ones there. The kids looked adorable as always.

Can't wait for next season to start

Well, she just turned 40 so 50 years is out.

Bill said they've been married 6 yrs & together 8 yrs.

The OP says ""another 50"" which awkwardly implies they have already celebrated 50.

As I read it, I took it as "an additional 50 over what they have now". Guess it's all in how it's taken.

haha...yes...they kind of ARE the death knell on reality shows aren't they!

I have a feeling this will be the exception! What woman in the world would not want a husband who would go to such lengths for her? Bill is, probably, the greatest husband in the world. I love this show.....and love this beautiful, beautiful family.

I could see that it was tough on Jen when she realized that Bill was surprising her with something, because as she mentioned, she likes to be more in control. I could identify with her, I would never want a husband to plan something like that without my knowing! I know that is a flaw on my part (of needing to be more in control), so don't jump on me!! That was super nice for Bill to do all that for her, but I could identify with her when she was trying to find out what was going on.

Those kids are super cute and sweet. I wish much good luck and many more years together for Bill and Jen.

I know exactly what you mean. We were given a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party and it was extremely stressful for me.

Lots of sweet moments in the final show of the season. I thought it was endearing how Chloe Dao was feeling nervous about the dress she designed for Jen. Jen being really emotional when she saw her Aunt Barbara at the renewal, as her aunt hadn't flown for 30 some years. Bill choking up when reading his vows. The flash mob. :-) And Jen instructing Bill to "make a straight incision" when cutting the first piece of cake!
