Not a gret fan of Lisa's but I've been quite concerned about her voice lately. Has anyone else noticed how her voice is quite hoarse while on the programs that she hosts? Hopefully she has had that checked. I know that she is on often and talks a lot but that doesn't seem natural.

She sounds like I did when I developed nodules on my vocal chords (singers or screamers nodules) from talking too much....The cure is total voice rest- I was off work for 2 weeks....

That is when I learned that whispering is harder on your vocal chords than speaking in a normal tone....

I can appreciate that when one has some forms of hoarseness or laryngitis, they feel quite well. Not at all well. However, as a viewer, it is not at all pleasant listening to a very hoarse, raspy voice. I'd prefer that a sub fill in, in those cases.

I don't mean to bash the hosts because coming up with something new to say has to be very difficult when you are on the air for hours. BUT, one wonders why the producers dont have her practice saying something besides not just "amazing" but "amazing amazing". It does grate on the ears after a time. Maybe have a clicker and when she reaches 20 amazing's give her a little zap. (Just KIDDING)
