How many hours do you watch TV per day ?

Although I usually have CNN (muted or low) on in the kitchen my actual viewing is only about 2 hours or so. I only follow a few shows per week.

What are your TV viewing habits ?

Close to zero. Sometimes I'll go the entire week with no TV. Sitting around and watching TV just isn't my thing.

The tv in my kitchen is on all day if I am home. I don't just sit and watch though. It's just background noise and will stop and watch if something catches my attention. I never really watch tv at night. I would rather go read after the news is over.

That's the way our tvs are. Automatically turn them on in the morning to catch the weather, then the news and they just stay there all day. LOL

I TIVO the shows I want to watch and those hours add up. I used to keep a tv on for background noise but stopped a few years ago.

I may watch an hour or two in the evening and then catch up on the recorded shows during the day when I have the time. Some days it's like a marathon-

Background noise. I'm up and down in my chair and tending to my little girl. Some movies when I do watch them, I'm seeing them for the first time, even if I know a lot of the dialogue.

I never watched TV, didn't have the time in my once busy life. Certainly didn't have (or want) one in my bedroom, where my TV is now.

Now I turn it on in the AM, muted either on QVC or CNN. If something comes on that I want to listen to, I turn on the sound. I don't know why I do this, but I guess it's because I live alone now. Back in the 80s and 90s I had a full house, and in the 2000s until 2004 when I retired, I was working.

I have little interest in daytime TV. I do watch some shows at night, but it's summer now and nothing of interest on during the summer, so I wind up doing crossword puzzles.

I don't watch tv during the day, especially in the summer. In the evening I usually watch Shark Tank on Friday night. I read a lot & sit on the deck in the evenings. Most evenings I catch the 10:00 news, mostly for the weather forecast.

The tv or music is always on but we're not paying much attention. We probably active watch 5 hours of programming a day. My husband watches much more though if there are games or golf he's interested in.

now home most of the time... it is ALWAYS ON in the background... I do things with it on. So... pretty much all day. In the evening after dinner I actually sit down and watch it.

It varies.

On average, probably 3-4 hours, late afternoon and evening.

To sit and watch a whole show and be able to tell you everything that happened, maybe 3 hours a night. During the day it is on, but it's really listening as opposed to watching.

I used to watch some soap operas years and years ago, now I don't not having the TV - sometimes I watch Wheel of Fortune with my husband, that's about it.

It varies. The TV is usually tuned in to the news channel (as it is now) but we aren't always watching. We watch evening shows sporadically. My favorite evening show is on Wednesday; Law & Order: SVU. I also enjoy Jeopardy.
