Donald just can't seem to catch a break, not that he deserves one.

Scott Sterling, the 32-year-old son of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, was found dead in his Malibu home Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Sterling had not been seen by family or friends for at least two days, according to an L.A. County Sheriff's Department spokesman. No one else was at the home when the body was discovered, according to the sheriff's department.

A sheriff's spokesman said his office is investigating the death as a possible drug overdose.

The younger Sterling was not involved with the Clippers, according to the team's 2012-13 media guide.

In 1999, a fight between Scott Sterling and friend at Donald Sterling's home in Beverly Hills ended with the friend shot, but no charges were ever filed.

This happened a year ago, he OD'd on drugs, his brother Phillip has just spoken out about it recently.

Wow, so even longer than a year ago. His brother Phillip speculated Scott was pyschologically damaged by the life long physical and mental abuse by their father Donald Sterling.

He is even sicker than first thought, what a nasty man...

A 1999 investigation by Beverly Hills police concluded: "There is overwhelming justification for filing a criminal case against Scott Sterling." It added that "No rational person" could possibly believe Scott Sterling's claim of self-defense."

Apparently, prosecutors disagreed. No charges were ever filed.

Moret asked, "Scott actually claims this was self-defense."

"Ridiculous," declared Scheid.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers owner was a major contributor to the re-election campaign of then District Attorney Gil Garcetti. He also claimed to be friends with high-ranking police officials.

The District Attorney's office has denied any favoritism was shown towards Sterling.

That wasn't Philip Scheid's only tragic brush with the Sterlings. In 2005 his sister, Cheryl, was left paralyzed after a fall at a party where Scott Sterling was later accused of distributing drugs.

Scott died from a drug overdose at a beachfront apartment in Malibu last year. He was 32.

Philip says he's not surprised by Donald Sterling's latest scandal, saying, "It was the norm for Don, in my opinion. He always had these girls, always."
