Holy Hail storm.

OMG hail everywhere. My son called from work, he has dents in his car. Other cars are damaged with holes in windows and bodies of cars. The glass roof collapsed at the mall near my kids (an hr from here). The one highway is so covered in hail traffic is at a stand still. It looks like snow. DH just put the newer car in the garage b/c its coming this way. Just started raining/thundering here. Over near my kids even made the weather channel showing pics of damage.

that happened to us here in march! it was awful - lots of cars were damaged if not total loss. that is what happened to my brother while at work! all the glass was broken out and he had holes in the body of the car. our area got nickel size hail - they had softball size hail where he was!

I live in Pa. and Reading got slammed! So many cars with the window busted out and tons of dents. Allentown looks like a river of white ice. Can't believe this!!!! I am in between both cities and only got rain.

Yesterday afternoon, for just a few minutes, we had a little downpour of ice balls the size of peppercorns. Usually, that wouldn't be too noticeable but it was such a heavy downpour that it looked like a snowstorm.

I feel for people who have big, giant hail balls. I can't even imagine that! Stay safe.

My kids are on the outside of Reading to the west in the burbs. My son just filed a claim on insurance. His entire (3 or 4? yr) car is dented. We are an hour away, never did get the hail here. It was all around us. But over near my kids wow it is bad like you said. I cant believe all the damage on the news. It was even on Anderson Cooper and World New tonight.
