Don't like her comments then don't buy her items however not everyone found her remarks to be as offensive as all that. Don't tell others what they should and should not buy. this is America and we can do what we want as individuals.

Some found her remarks very offensive and some did not. Please stop trying to tell others what they should think about this. We are all capable of making our own decisions and we don't need you (OP) to tell us what we must think. I proudly march into the hall of shame with my head held high !

I just saw the interview with Michelle Knight and the story in People.

She has forgiven her captor. If she can do that...why are people holding a grudge against Joan?

It's probably the same people who never liked her to begin with...and/or Paula supporters.

I don't have a problem with Joan for what she says when she's trying to be funny.

I saw the ""real"" Joan on Celebrity Apprentice. That's what soured me on her.

While Joan's original remark was tasteless, I found her response to the victims' complaints offensive:

"Just days after comparing her living arrangements on her reality show to what the women faced, Rivers kept it up. She told TMZ, the celebrity gossip program, that Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry should not complain: "They got to live rent free for more than a decade . . . One of them has a book deal. Neither are in a psych ward. They're OK. I bet you within three years one of them will be on Dancing with the Stars."

And she went on. In an apparent reference to a lack of sense of humor, she said, "The TV the guy gave them must not have had SNL.''

Have any of the women said anything about her comments? Or is it only people who don't know them who are offended?
