Has any heard from Madame Curie?

Heiress! (Ducking for cover, LOL). I know Heiress has a lot of fans on this BB. One thing you have to say is that she livened this place up a lot!

I still miss CA who started the Pancake thread which is still going strong. She left quite some time ago and we were all hoping she'd come back and check in for old times' sake, but sadly she has not.

Lots of other missing posters; almost too many to mention.

I haven't seen Billie in a very long time. She was always very knowledgeable on threads discussing Bible verses (which would not be allowed now anyway). I know she had some issues with a few posters awhile back, but I never had a problem with her. I may not have had much in common with a lot of posters, but I miss the diversity that there once was. I learned a lot about others' perspectives back then.

Marianne seems to be the type of poster that comes and goes often. She's very active on the threads for a period of time, then she's gone for awhile. Maybe she just needs a break every now and then, or else she becomes a read-only poster until she's motivated to start posting again. I always enjoyed her input as she seems to be very fair and doesn't try to align herself with a particular clique.

This thread is timely. I was just thinking about Allegra today, and wondering if she beat her cancer. I sincerely hope she is well and enjoying life.

I think a lot of posters have merely left Viewpoints, and not the entire board. I'm in VP mostly, but every now and then I venture out into different forums. So many times I've run into posters that I've completely forgotten about and I feel like shouting out to them. They seem to be very active in other forums but no longer choose to post on VP.

Hi Sugar! I have wondered about MC and many listed on this thread. I do think there has been some permanent banning and this could explain why some posters are missing. Not saying anyone mentioned here is on that list... but do think the Q has done some permanent banning now.

Hope all are well and have wished we could hear from them.

ITA with TG, I too have run across long time posters from VP who appear have chosen to move on from here. Sadly...I can see why.
