The Q just had a special on Dr. Denese anti-wrinkle hydrating treatment. I've never tried any of her products and I wonder if it really does anything.

The weather here has been very dry for a long time, which we're not used to, and it has an effect on skin. There was one OTC product I liked but it seems they stopped making it.

I have used her products and liked them a lot.

Then I discovered argon oil which works better for me.

Dr. Denese's products are high quality and priced well for what you get.

I've tried that super expensive Hydroshield in the large opaque pump and was astounded how it did absolutely nothing for my fine lines around the eyes. Also, saw no difference in the tone or radiance of my skin. I used this product faithfully for over 3 months until I stopped because I wanted to try something else. Also, was thinking that maybe it's for 30 or 40 year olds as a preventive since so many claim it's wonderful. I've seen women in that age bracket with flawless skin use extremely expensive skin care claiming that to be a miracle worker too.....puzzling.

I think overall it is a good line.

Hydroshield did nothing for me either. But I have liked other products.

Thanks, that's a good overall summary That's been my experience with other "wonder products." Some people rave about them, but I don't really see a difference.

I had TERRIBLE flaking this winter...too much cold air and shoveling!

I use argon milk and rub it in good. Then layer argon oil in the problem areas - light coat. On top of that goes my moisturizer - in the winter it was heavy duty - Crème Ancienne from Fresh, now sometimes nothing. All the flaking and redness have gone away...it's a miracle!

I was so desperate I went for a facial. The facialist said to always seal in a serum or oil with moisturizer on top. She said it keeps the moisture in.

Paula Begoun of Paula's Choice has reviews of her products if you are interested. She rates some of them very good, others not so much.

I use a couple of different brands but Paula's Choice is my go to brand for most stuff. Her products are great. They are the correct pH for what they are supposed to do, they have no irritating ingredients or fragrance and her customer service is bar none the best in the business. You can buy a complete set of skincare for around 100-150 depending on the set you get. I am currently in love with her Vitamin C15 serum. As an aesthetician I have used a ton of vit c serums and this one is the absolute best. I take excellent care of my skin so sometimes it is hard for me to see if something working but this had met and exceeded all of my expectations.

In all my years of using her products there were maybe 2 that I didn't care for. I didn't hate it, just wasn't crazy about it. I hadn't even intended on returning it but I left a review that it wasn't my favorite product and customer service read my review and immediately credited my account. I didn't even ask for that, they just did it.

Here it's the lack of moisture, it's been awful. Usually we at least have the fog, but even that has been scarce. We already had a heat wave of 90 degrees, about a week or a little more ago, and it looks like another one is coming next week.

Too weird, because my daughter just called and said her skin wasn't looking good. I noticed it the other night on a friend, also, when we were out to dinner. We're all DRY, LOL.

Is a serum and moisturizer all that's needed?

She is online and she has her own site and sells at a few other online stores I believe.

She has been in the skincare industry for a long time. I find her more knowledgeable about skin CARE (not disease) that most dermatologists. She is very science based and developed her products according to research done. She also has a very helpful ingredient dictionary that tells you about the ingredients and lets you know what they can do and what they can't do. If you go over to the beauty board you will see she is very popular over that. The poster SuzyQ3 who used to post over here but now is more on the beauty board is a huge fan of hers.

Hi Noel.....how ya doing? Hoping that things are well in your little corner of the world.

If you are referring to the kit with the Hydroshield, Neck Cream and Face Cream, I got it when it was the TSV on auto-delivery.

I love her products and swear by the Hydroshield (and that kit price is worth it, for that alone). I don't know what it does for me, but I can say that when I don't use it I see a difference in my skin.....not as moisturized or supple (I have very dry skin too). The moisturizer is too heavy for me to use in the summer so I use her Dream Cream instead. The neck cream is very moisturizing. I can't say that it makes all of your neck problems disappear, but it does make my neck look less crepey (sp???).

Her products are loaded with great products.
