TSV is too short!!!

I would order this dress if it was about 4 inches longer. Way too short, in my opinion, for anyone over 30. It looks like a bathing suit cover up, and I can buy one almost just like it at Wal-Mart for $12. Why are all the dresses either too short, like this one, or too long like most of the maxis that would drag on the floor? But that's OK. at least I won't spend any money!!!LOL!!!

Some of the taller hosts are wearing pants under it and that's not the best look, either. I think it would be a nice swimsuit cover up, too.

Have you read the reviews? They are describing the dress as anything from ugly to hideous.

Do you never wear a dress an inch or two above your knees? That's where a 35"" dress hits on me and I'm 5'9"" tall. But I plan to wear this as a tunic over leggings. Very mod and edgy. Will make a great layering piece in colder weather too. I think some of you are confusing this particular French terry with terry cloth or the older French terry. This is a cotton blend woven material on the outside with a very fine microloop backing. Not especially absorbent so wouldn't make a bathing suit cover up.

I rather like the length of it. I agree that it has a mod look to it. Longer and it would lose that.

I'd wear it with flip flops.

The fabric looks strange to me. I would really only wear this after a shower to lounge in.

The length is okay for me, and I'm 5' 9".

I wouldn't wear this over pants. I have cuter tunics that I would wear.

It seems strange as a cover up. It's too thick.

I got slammed on another thread when I said it looked like a terrycloth beach coverup that I could get at Target for $19.99. So now I find out I could get it even cheaper at Walmart

Sorry, I just can't figure out what that dress wants to be: a short casual dress, a tunic, a beach coverup, what? Plus the price is outrageous. Not for me, but for those who ordered it, I hope they like it.

It's a relaxed fit which translates on my frame as too big and frumpy. I'd have to belt it and I never wear a belt on a dress in the summer....too hot.

I think the only use for this would be a bathing suit cover up. That is what I thought of immediately when I saw it.

I am constantly looking for swimsuit cover-ups and they aren't cheap out in retail. And most of them hardly cover anything. Many of them are uber short, very, very sheer and basically useless. With many of them you might as well be walking around in your bathing suit.

Sometimes DH and I like to dock our boat and have dinner and I like nice cover-ups for those situations. Maxi dresses are a hassle because it's too much fabric getting on and off the boat and I've seen women trip over them.

Did you notice that about 8 out of 10 the reviewers don't even own the dress?

It's ridiculous QVC allows reviews to be posted from people who don't even own it.
