The TILT - How brave are YOU?

Chicago residents and tourists alike will have a new way to get a fresh perspective on the city this spring when an attraction called TILT debuts at 360 CHICAGO (formerly John Hancock Observatory).

Up to eight people can fit inside the glass and steel moveable platform that slowly tilts outward on an angle, providing downward-facing views of the city from 1,000 feet.

In a news release announcing the project, Mayor Rahm Emanuel says the project will have a profound affect on tourism, with the ability to "attract thrill seekers from around the world to our city."

Don't think so, but I might. Wouldn't want to be the window washer .... especially on the inside.

It seems exciting - in one half of my brain. But the other half of my brain says - no way!

I can barely do a glass elevator. I don't really have a problem with heights, per se, but I have a problem with looking over a ledge and getting the sensation of falling. I can be up high and have a great time, but just keep me away from the edge.

Not something I would do. Ain't crazy about being on water or in the air or in high buildings. Why? Beats me.

My mom thought there was NO glass in the front part .

Not a chance. Just looking at it made me urpy. Anybody here ever walk out onto that glass platform at the Grand Canyon?
