I was wondering what the deal was..I live in the North East and found them over the winter in the house..and a couple this weekend alone.

UGH. I hate those things. You find them everywhere. My friend opened her purse the other day and there was one in there!

LOL! We have them too, but I don't understand why they are called "stink bugs"? I guess I never got close enough to them or they just didn't stink on me.

They are scary looking, a prehistoric bug w/ armor! They only stink when you smash them (which I don't). DS catches them and sticks them in a jar, to die.

We see about 1 or 2 a day now. Nothing like we did in previous years. Last year when it started to warm up there would be hundreds of them on the house. Some of them overwintered in our attic. Think the cold weather took a toll on a lot of them in our area.

I've squished them in a kleen-x and before I flush them say, "I'm sorry".

They are called stink bugs because they smell terrible if you crush them. The best way to kill them is to spray them not crush them in a tissue.

I read an article that said that a new AGGRESSIVE strain of stink bug is on the way. This new SB bites. Literally bite, not figuratively.

The stick bug's main goal in life is to live in your house. Putting them outside only only makes them mad as they have been in your house and they like it there. They will return.

I have them on the inside, but my sister's new house is covered on the outside. It's nasty, they like the new brick and siding apparently.

That is sadistic as is catching fireflies and butterflies. They are harmless so just put them outside.
