topic Does Anyone own an E-Reader??? in Community Chat

Hi All,

I am an avid book reader...and my husband gave me a E-reader from Borders for Christmas. I was a little taken back, because I was'nt expecting it and I am generally not a "techi" person. But he says other stuff can be put on the E-reader. Honestly, I can't figure out if I like the thing or not.

Still exploring it and wondering if anyone has had one and absolutely loves it and besides books anything else can be read on there? I down loaded 1 book and lost my page more then once by pushing the wrong button. Had to go back to that chapter and forward until I found the page I was on. Meanwhile not sure I like the delay in the page popping up... its really a matter of seconds, but its so different then a book. I miss the soothing, page turning feel of a book. But the Idea of storing 100 books never mind a 1000 books on this little thing is very appealing...great especially if one travels - I always take 2 books with me...etc.

- any user advice is much welcomed !

Thanks !
