The much-anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is one step closer with the sending out of the invitations.

The invites for the event -- widely believed to be scheduled for some time in the coming weeks in France -- have been sent out to guests, a source close to the couple tells ET.

I feel sorry for the country of France. If that's the best we can export, no wonder they don't like us, LOL.

Wonder what the bridal showers will be like- can't imagine the kind of gift they'd get? Expensive as all get out- No gift cards for this couple! LOL

If they had any sense, they would request that in lieu of actual gifts, attendees would be asked to make donations to the charity of their choice. I doubt they'll do that, though.

Think when mine arrives, I will put it back out at the mailbox for the mailman to return to sender.....no one here by that name.....

One less gift a Thank You will have to be sent out for.
