Reunion Southern Charm

I think Katheryn looks fabulous with the weight gain after the baby..........she is really beautiful and I am sure she will loose some weight she looks fabulous. So happy for her and Thomas and the baby.

Craig...........I think he is the most handsome of them all. I do adore Thomas though.

Thomas is likeable because he seems to be himself. I can't say the same about the rest of the cast. He and Kathryn seemed thrilled about the new baby and seem to truly care about each other so I'm pleased for them. There is going to be another show of unseen clips next Monday night.

I dvr'd the reunion, but I only watched a few minutes. I don't like Whitney or Shep or Craig. They all seem to throw their friends under the bus any chance they can get. Even Cameron did it throughout the series-- though I liked her overall. She is adorable! I ilke T. Rav the best too. Thanks for the heads' up on next Monday night clips.

I thought that Kathryn looked extremely uncomfortable. She mentioned she hasn't gotten a ring from Thomas yet.

He seems to be very happy about the baby. I doubt they will marry. They are at totally different places in their lives...

They have left town and are living in Key West. Two people in a strange city with a new baby...recipe for disaster.

I didn't realize they'd moved. I think Kathryn looks much better, she was too thin, Imo. The baby is precious, its a big age gap..surprised Thomas hasn't married her!

I couldn't get into the show at first and quit watching it until about a few episodes from the end. I really enjoyed the reunion. There was lots of laughing and wasn't about all the drama like the housewife reunions.

Thomas is still my favorite. I barely even remember Craig from the episodes I watched. Jenna didn't really stand out either. For some reason Whitney just gives me the creeps. It has something to do with the eyes and how he uses them when he talks. I know most people seemed to love his mother but I wasn't impressed with her snobbish demeanor at all. I wouldn't have recognized Kathryn at all. I kept staring at her and couldn't believe she was the same person. I know she had some extra baby weight and her hair color and style had changed but even her facial features seemed to be different to me (maybe it was the lack of those eyelashes....LOL).

I loved the show and liked seeing the reunion show. I like Thomas...flaws and all. The cast is interesting and seeing all the homes, restaurants etc was my favorite part of the show.

I could hardly recognize Kathryn...she seems to be maturing. I just am not sure if Thomas is making the right decision but he seems to be besotted with their new baby. Wishing them the best.

Craig works with kids who either are homeless or removed from their homes through a charity in SC. He does it pro bono so for that I think he is a good person.

I thought the reunion was good. biggest change of course was Katherine.

I think that maybe before the baby, she was not leading a healthy lifestyle. too much booze, and not eating. she was extremely thin.

she looks like she might have put on a little too much pregnancy weight. they look happy. good for them.

Thomas really looked good last night, in fact he even looked younger! He looked rested and happy, and though Katherine has some "baby weight" to lose, she looked good as well, she was awfully skinny during the show! I do think if he runs for Congress, they need to get married ............ just a Southern thing!

As far as Whitney & Shep, self-absorbed trust fund kids ............ spoiled brats, IMO! Shep is nothing but a big "Mama's Boy" at 45!!!

Craig is a cutie pie and he will make a good ole Southern boy attorney, LOL!

She had relations with two of his friends in the space of 3 weeks. She is extremely immature and is looking to make some $$$ with the baby. I put her one step up barely) from the Sixteen and Pregnant Moms on MTV.

He may love the baby...but I think he still has some doubts about the baby momma.

Is his state the one with the guv who had the Argentine GF and told everyone he was hiking on the Appalachian Trail? People forgave him too...and he won the next time he ran..and still hasn't married the Argentinian fiancé.

I thought there was a remarkable change in Kathryn's demeanor. She just seemed more mature, articulate, and more "together." She also seemed to have done a lot of self-reflection on the way she had presented herself on the show. I'm happy for her. She wasn't in an relationship with anyone when she slept with 3 different guys, so I don't necessarily see the problem. She slept with Whitney and Shep, only after she felt Thomas had blown her off. It's not something I would have done, but I don't judge her. Not to repeat the obvious, but when a guy does the same thing, most people don't think twice about it. I think she truly loves Thomas. Thomas mentioned that it would have bothered him when he was in his 20's, but now that he's older, it's not a big deal to him. I can understand Thomas wanting to wait a bit before becoming engaged - only because their relationship is so new. The age difference is definitely something to think more about, as well.

Might not be as wealthy as Thomas' family, but I got the impression it was fairly close. I guess some people who already have "family money" could possibly want even more money, but I just don't see that in Kathryn.

Her family home didn't seem "shabby" to me, but I don't recall too much of it. I thought it appeared to be simple, but I do know some wealthy people live very simply. I still don't think Kathryn is angling for money. Even Shep stated to Craig that Kathryn had money, and wasn't using Thomas for $$.

Yes, not using birth control is immature. BTW, did you hear Shep - who is in his mid 30's - mention he doesn't use birth control? Wow. Like I already said, I don't judge Kathryn for being with 3 guys. She appears to have matured A LOT, since the show has aired. She seemed to have been a lost little girl looking for affection a few months ago. She even mentioned she didn't like how she had presented herself, and has stopped her partying, etc. I think she has grown up a lot.

I just looked up some info...it was Mark Sanford (the cheating fool with the Argentine GF) who signed the orders removing Thomas from office.

So there is hope for Thomas' political career in that state!

I agree terrier3, the shutters were falling off the front of the house and it looked in need of some maintenance. It was large and I'm sure at one time was pretty grand. Just needs some work.

I also think that being with 3 wealthy men in 3 wks with no BC is looking to snag herself a rich baby daddy. Guess she got what she wanted. I'm glad Thomas is over the moon over his baby girl, just hope he holds off on the marriage.

I like this show. I thought Kathryn seemed uncomfortable but I think it had more to do with her gaining a few pounds (women can be insecure about this especially with new mother baby blues) and feeling a little embarrassed by drinking a bit too much. Your priorities change greatly when you have a child and stuff you had fun doing before seems dangerous and ridiculous.

I think it is hypocritical and a total double standard that we talk about her having 3 sexual partners but guys get a pass on that. Was it stupid to be unprotected? Sure, but it happens and it seems her drinking added to her careless decisions and that is not unusual for 20 somethings.

As for her house. Hardly shabby. It is about 150 yrs old and had working shudders, one was off and one was askew. My sister lives in a 100 yr old house that had the original working shudders and she had to have them replaced. It isn't something you can go to Home Depot and get. It took 8 months once they came out and measured and made sure the design would match up with the originals. The inside of the house looked fine. I didn't see any chipping or peeling paint on the outside of the home either. Just messed up shudders. If it is anything like my sisters house then she follows the history of the house and the people that do that type of work you just don't hire off of Craigslist. They are few and far between skilled workmen and are often busy on other jobs so you do have to wait for their expertise. I will wait to automatically judge that they are broke and just don't have money to fix it because I don't think that is the case at all.

He is also very involved in polo so them moving to FL isn't really a surprise.
