Just saw this story on Fox Business Channel. This fella got severly beaten outside a bar years ago and suffered a terrible concussion. He came out of it with savant like math abilities.

The brain is an amazing thing! Thanks for sharing. I always find these types of stories fascinating. Like the people who have TBI's, etc and then have a different accent. So interesting.

Incredible and very mysterious how that happened. Even with our modern technology and medicine, we still know so little about the brain.

The thing that really is so odd is how he "sees" the world now. How he describes it. He shows it in his art. So many things we don't know about the brain for sure.
