Game of Thrones Epi 3 Season 4 spoilers!

Since a lot of us were busy last night, I guess that the GoT epi thread was not missed too much!! I didn't get a chance to watch it until this morning anyway.

So.....what did you all think? Not the most exciting epi - they did cut down some scenes quite a bit (Sansa actually traveled quite a bit with whats-his-face before he was killed..but I guess they wanted to cut down those scenes and just get her with Petyr as quickly as possible...I will enjoy their storyline very much if it follows the books - it is creepy but it also shows how strong Sansa is getting)

Loved the scene with Pod & Tyrion - Tyrion really cares for Podrick.

Jaime's ..err...love scene with his sister - in the books it wasn't quite like that - they were both very willing. I actually felt they did a disservice to his character last night, showing it in that manner. They WERE both willing in the book - and to have him force her like that - totally not in his character at all. Regardless of how I feel about a brother-sister relationship (which grosses me out to no end), Jaime's love for her is very real. He DOES love her, whereas in the books, Cersei's shown to be an opportunist and she doesn't really love Jaime anymore...She was using him.

Still think Arya and The Hound need their own show - lol. They are so good together - I love their relationship and she is one little feisty girl and she isn't afraid of him.

The Dany storyline bores me to tears. I am sorry, but this is how I felt throughout the books as well after book 1.

The Dany storyline? Do you mean Danarius Stormborn? I actually LOVE that storyline! There's not as much gore or s3x, (which might be why it bores you to tears, lol.....) but I love how she is winning over hearts by giving the slaves their freedom.

Last night's episode ended kind of oddly, but as my husband said, "It's Game of Thrones. It's supposed to keep you a little off balance."

I tried to get into the Vikings, croemer......but it just doesn't hold a candle to Game of Thrones. You really should buy the DVDs and start watching. I think it's truly the best TV show I've ever seen.....

I agree with you b, that last night's show was not as much a white knuckle show, but it did give a lot of insight into many of the characters. I couldn't believe it was over when the credits started running.

Speaking of Cersei, I was watching Remains of the Day last week and I kept looking at the housemaid Lisa, wondering where in the world I had seen her?

It finally dawned on me when she made a certain expression, it was a very young Lena Headey! She is a brunette (which I either never considered or had forgotten) and looks completely different in that blonde wig!

They're on the 4th season now, croemer. I'm pretty sure I read that they will do at least 7 seasons so it's not too late to start. Actually...this is the first season I've watched in "real time". I watched all the others on Blu-ray and LOVED watching it that way. It is seriously so good that we would sometimes watch 3 episodes in a row. You will breeze thru all 3 seasons in no time. I think season 3 only had 10 episodes.

Speaking of brunettes, Have you seen Emilia Clark who plays Daennerys( as a brunette?) I hardly recognized her.

It really is not for the faint of heart scottie. Nothing as gross as that scene from The Wolf of Wall Street that disturbed you.........but the torture and violence is really, really bad. I actually cringe at some of it. I actually know a few people who are not sure they want to keep watching it for that very reason.

Yes...it is that bad.
