This song he sang says it all...where he is now: Ghost on the canvas I remember when he sang it several years ago on his goodbye tour...so haunting.

When he collaborated with Jimmy Webb on songs in the late 1960's, Glen Campbell made music magic. His legacy will continue long after he is gone. There will never be another Wichita Lineman such as his. Love his music.

Of all the disease out there. Alzheimers terrifies me the most.

My aunt lost her husband a few years ago to it and it was so hard for her and him also. Before it got bad they went on a trip together for a few days to visit his old college friends. They woke up one morning and he didn't know where he was. He was scared to death and it broke my aunts heart to see him so scared. They went home immediately but it had such an impact on my aunt.

My mom is in her mid 70's and in great health and mind right now but I do worry this could happen to her. I can't imagine how hard it would be for her to be scared and not remember any of us. I am crying right now thinking of how cruel this disease it.

Alzheimer's is a horrible disease that I live with daily. I am sorry for Glenn and his family.

My son and I went to see his farewell concert two years ago in January. I'm so glad we went but it was sad. Very emotional. My oldest is a huge country music fan as was my father so I felt his presence in the theatre too. I'm sorry to hear he has had to be placed but at a certain point it is probably the best.
