Chivalry? Alive on QVC???

Okay, maybe I didn't get enough sleep, so it's me, I'm a bit crabby, grumpy, or sensitive. But did I just see Pat drop some papers, and Craig just stand there putting paper in the shredder while he watched her pick them up??

Generally they do not stoop to pick things up but , if they drop somehing they leave it on the floor. I'm thinking they have been taught not to bend over out of the camera shot or something.

I don't think chivalry is the issue. I would look at this as just having the common sense to help somebody out, no matter if it's a man or a woman who dropped the papers.

Agreed. I always help someone who has dropped something be it male or female.

I think you're right. If they're both picking up items on the floor, no one is selling. Even if it's for ten seconds, no one is facing the camera pitching the product. As they say, time is money.

LOL! I've often thought the same thing, you just said it. The OP's name is rather fitting.... I wonder what she does when someone lets the door shut on her at the grocery store.... chivalry is a rare thing these days. Enjoy it when you encounter it, just don't expect it.

Not you SeaGal, nothing grumpy about you... I barely get any sleep and such a nonsense thing would not bother me. I'm just happy when a guy doesn't back into me in a parking lot, or or like I said...someone actually holds the door open for me, or says "bless you" when you sneeze. I do find it funny though when I read complaint threads like this... in addition to giving me a giggle it reminds me to take a deep breath before I go tackle my real problems.

Poor Dan will never live that one down. My understanding is that someone off camera was quickly there to tend to her. Dan spared her further embarrassment by not bringing more attention to it.
