The entire show was just incredible! The best season of any reality singing show..Evah..I think. Sisaundra is comparable to any one of the female greats. Does anyone know if she has professional experience? I agree scottie about some of them thinking about teaming up as duets.

focksie. I don't know what Sisaundra's experience is. She certainly has stage presence as well as an amazing voice!

On September 10, 2005 she scored her first number-one U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Playchart hit with "Shout." She performed with Cirque du Soleil's show La Nouba in 2003 and from 2006-2012. She is also featured on the La Nouba DVD, filmed live in 2003."

So I guess she has a professional career already, but you are right croemer & DH. She should already have a couple of albums out and be a solo artist in her own right. Now how can a high school student who sings in the chorus or a guy who works on the farm compete with her? It sort of reminds me of last season (already forgot the woman's name ) - the one who sang back-up for Michael Jackson? She blew the competition away, but wasn't she voted off ultimately because she was already a pro?

I agree on all your points focksie, we are just basing our decision on who is on the Voice. It is the same with DWTS.

Wasn't it Judith Hill who sang backup for Michael Jackson?? She was voted off not last season but the season before.

Tissyanne was last season's winner but I don't think she did backup for MJ. She was already a pro too, I believe.

Sisaundra is a powerhouse but I agree - professionals are hard to beat.

Me too! I think it is so unfair!! The pros have already learned the tricks of the trade--calming tips, throwing their voice, tone etc. I thought the whole point of this show was to take someone who was a somewhat new to the singing field and coach them to the top! I do think it is the best singing competition show on the air....am really enjoying the contestants and the rapport among the judges.

I do believe the pros are pre-screened and pushed through ahead of the 'regular' singers.

I haven't seen last night's yet, I just watched the DVR of Monday night's version. I cannot watch this in real time because the commercials drive me insane.

Anyhow, I used to be a American Idol fan until about 3 or 4 seasons ago and then I felt the talent was seriously lacking and getting worse by the minute. But for some reason, I never could get into The Voice.

This year we are watching it and loving it. I cannot believe how amazingly talented these people are. This show blows AI out of the water.

Yes it does...plus the interactions with the Judges are highly entertaining.

The Voice is so much better than Idol, but I admit to watching because of the coaches, not the contestants. Love Usher's hat.

A concern of Adam's is probably who is more marketable. You know, the power of young girls voting.

I really wish they didn't allow professionals like Judith Hill and Sisaundra Lewis as contestants. Are they good? Of course. But I will always pull for the young, raw talent of someone who is currently working at MacDonalds.
