ABC News just reported that they couldn't come to terms with Josh Elliott on GMA and he's leaving to join NBC Sports.

I loved Josh on GMA. He and Sam had great chemistry and were fun. I don't care for Lara at all. Amy Robach is replacing him at the news desk.

Awhile ago I read either Josh E or Lara S would be coming back, not both. She signed a big new contract recently.

No! I'm really surprised, but have to say I don't like him. I felt that even more strongly after I read reports that he has trouble getting along with women. All women but especially Lara, who I am also not a fan of.

I am really sorry to hear that Josh is leaving. I love his sentimentality and gentleness, but I think he's also a good reporter. However, he really stole my heart the other day when old Kourtney K was showing her line of toddler clothing, and Josh was down on the floor playing with all those babies. So cute.

I'm sorry he's leaving also. We watch GMA every morning. We liked the old team, with Sam, but we like Ginger and Amy also.

Wow, that was fast, they usually make a big deal with some type of party when someone leaves this show. He is not on this morning. I do like Amy though. I guess he parted on bad terms. I guess we really never know what goes on behind the scenes.

Oh how I wish it was Lara who left. I just don't care for her. Really enjoyed Josh….when he was there. He always seemed to be out a lot of the time. My best wishes go out to him.

There are too many people on that show! It's my favorite morning show, but they talk over each other worse than they do on the View. I don't know how George stands it. He just looks uncomfortable.

he wanted $10 million a year - they wanted to pay him only $5 million a year. he was making $1 million a year and the execs said they thought that 5 was generous.

Laura just signed a new contract - $2 million a year.

part of ABC News chief Ben Sherwood's memo:

"Josh Elliott let us know today that he is going to NBC Sports. As many of you know, we have been negotiating with Josh these past several months. In good faith, we worked hard to close a significant gap between our generous offer and his expectations. In the end, Josh felt he deserved a different deal and so he chose a new path."

Wish it just were Robin and George again. Maybe and a new person, who'd

I agree with you, Magenta. Lara is Lara's biggest fan. I wish it were just George, Robin and now Amy. I wish they'd get rid of some of the fl*ff. And move the weather lady back to weekend mornings where they all had such great chemistry. She doesn't seem to fit in so much now. And I'd love to see them hire the young weather lady that subs on our local ABC channel.

Yes, those were the days. Although Charlie could also be very sharp and not so nice to ladies sometimes. Don't have an example now, but I found he could be very snide.

I no longer watch GMA since they seem to be more show biz news and Lara annoys. Moved on to CBS in the morning. Sounds like GMA is self destructing.

There are far too many people standing and sitting around the GMA desk. I do not see a lot of chemistry between most of them. As much as I liked George S on Sunday morning, I think he is the worst fit. He is at his best commenting on politics and serious news.

Years ago Lara Spencer did lifestyle and flu**ff reports occasionally on NYC local ABC. Even back then she was full of herself. I never cared for her voice.

Amy Robach was great when she was teamed up with Lester Holt on Weekend Today. I remember when she married Andrew Shue.
