mud slide in Washinton state

A little town named Oso in Washington State had a terrible mud slide this weekend. People have died and there are many missing. If you are a believer- please pray for this town and all the families that are hurting. Washington State is my home state. It's beautiful there....

it is certainly sad....it happened on the weekend so more people were home then off to work...some that were driving on that road were caught in it, too....such a mess....and so darn scary....

And part of the river is blocked by the slide...so now there is worry about flooding.

Marienkaefer2- I'm from Walla Walla. It's on the other side of the state. Near Oregon border.

It doesn't look good from the television news I've seen. Lots and lots of work/effort to find the missing people will be needed. My best of thoughts for all involved. Take care.

They qualified that because they think those reports may contain multiple references to the same persons in some cases. I hope that's true, and I hope that some who just have seasonal homes there weren't even in the area, but people are reporting them anyway.

Pittsburgh,Pa on their news tonight they announced that a man from the Pittsburgh area who lives out there is missing and so are his two little children. Such a heart ache for the family they found one little girl and she is with the mother but the other two are missing. Prayers for all the people who have family members missing and who all lost their homes.
