Agree.....we all want to know, but they just keep going and going and going on about it. That doesn't solve the problem. And we can be sure they aren't telling everything they know. So, let it rest for a while.....at least until they have some concrete evidence where it is.....

We live in a society that wants answers NOW. We crave it and that is why they bombard us with what "we" want to hear. That is why we come on here and give our ideas, thoughts, etc. of what could/would/should/did on every subject out there.

If it were my loved ones I would want it front and center so they never stop trying to find out what happened and where they are.

Very true. I admit the trait has rubbed off on me especially in traffic.

I don't think 24/7 coverage is going to help find the plane. So far they've dug up every old, retired pilot who ever flew for his opinion, which I don't find much more informed than mine. I'm weary of the whole thing, especially since I think there's an excellent chance the plane will never be found.

I haven't heard anything on any of the news channels where they are giving up trying to find out what happened and where they are.

I think we all care.....after all, there were some Americans on that plane too. I have held them in my prayers nightly.......

I would too, but I would want "them" there telling me what is being done. I would not want to read it somewhere and wonder.

I don't watch news on TV but am glad they have stayed on the story. Hijacking affects all who travel by air, so it's a compelling story because of the 200+ people terrorized on board, and also the precedent and encouragement this will give to more hijackers.

Those things go in waves. There were a lot in the later 1970s. There will be a lot more now. It is a big news story. If everyone drops it, we can be sure that Maylasia will. The tiny chance that there are survivors among the passengers would then evaporate, though I suppose they are all dead by now. It's hard for me to believe that posters here don't care one way or another, but then I switched off TV news about 10 years ago. Too much speculation, too little "news."

Exactly...I just don't get the constant griping on just about any subject. There are options.

I like that I can find something about it WHEN I want to. But I certainly do not mind the constant info. about it...at all. Compassion wouldn't hurt a few.

That is what I do......just can sit and watch those NEWS channels all day. Right now I have our local news on, and they will have something to say about today's events on there. But, at least it's not the whole hour.......
