I just read an article that said the millinials are the least prepared for the future. Do you have a son or daughter who is a millienial and do you believe they are ready? Millinials are born between the early 1980s and early 2000s.

If they ain't ready they better start getting there in a hurry. Lot's of things I could say about them in general, but since I do not have any human kids, I will leave that up to parents of the 2 legged type.

My heart goes out to them as they must deal with a world far different than when I was young.

If my generation worked hard, went to college/trade school, we were able to get a good job, purchase a home and live the American dream...today not so much.

I have seen so many great kids work hard and get that degree and there are just not that many jobs available. They are struggling, especially those strapped with college debt.

They have a very tough road ahead of them and I am sure many are not prepared for that.

I know in certain major cities there are many jobs open for masonry workers and not enough experienced ones to fill them. And these jobs can be 6 figure annually jobs.

Same with some of the higher technological electronic advances. I am not talking about computers, but those dealing with building and repairing things like jet engines and working on such projects as hydrogen operated motor vehicles.

Right here I our rather small city there are quite a few well paying jobs that go unfilled because of the lack of experienced people in those fields.

We will always need plumbers, electricians, etc. and they are able to make quite a good living.

ETA: John, I hope that you are your wife are doing well.
