This was my first reading even though I've always wanted to.. My friend recommended her. I know there are many skeptics but I'm glad I did this!

I don't know if they're real or not, but I would think that they would need to have a connection with the one person in order to "see" things. Such as being in the same room, or holding their hand, or whatever. So predicting large tragedies wouldn't work.

Right. They're only useful to tell us how grandma and grandpa are doing and that the family dog is there with them wagging his tail.

Most need the connection but there are a few who have feelings about incidents or places. Some are mental mediums and other are physical mediums. There are many variables. I have several good friends whose names would be known to most, they certainly not accurate all of the time. But by jingles, you would be amazed at the huge hits they get!

People with psychic abilities fall in many categories and none probably have the ability to win the lottery. Some communicate with the dead, some see the dead, some can have premonitions, some can see the past and what happened as in crimes, some can read minds, etc. All are not the same and don't have the same abilities. Some that claim to be are not and it will be obvious if anyone has ever went to a legitimate one. Years ago we had a really good one in the area I lived and she was spot on with future predictions. Some things she told me I just laughed about but low and behold they came true.

I sure hope the OP tells us about it.

I was in a salon the other day and they were playing the Long Island Medium over and over again. I guess the channel doesn't have anything else to show some times?

Anyway the Long Island Medium reminded me soooo much of Paula Deen.

I do believe in mediums and psychics. And about that lottery thing, it just doesnt work that way. Ive been told im psychic but I dont know. I do have many stories of dreaming about things and people and its always accurate. Things I cant possibly know.

Ive even had a dream about my husbands friends father. When I told my husband that I dreamed about him, he said "Why would you be dreaming about his father? He died a few years ago." I had no idea. There was no special message to give but when I told my husbands friend that I saw his father in my dream and described what he was doing and what he was wearing, and even the way he spoke to me in the dream, he said that it was 100% right. And I just started crying. I dont even know why.

The only time I see things, is in my dreams. I wish I had more control over whatever this is. And I do dream about numbers sometimes. When I play them, I always lose. Its very frustrating. lol

By the way, I cant stand that long island medium. Shes so loud and annoying. I dont believe her. I think shes just a big show and con artist.

Many years ago I met with several different psychics and each and every one was excellent. Yes, there are fakes out there but I was lucky never to have met one.

I had my palm read in high school along with my girlfriends. Ok to me its SO easy. She told us all the same type of things like we will travel, marry, get certain jobs. I mean that mostly happens to ALL people after they get out of school! ..lol..Its guessing IMO. Of course she never said we would all be divorced and remarried later (Which we all are now..lol).

Same with the mediums. Note they have a room of people and say so and so is trying to contact you, they died of a heart attack or a car wreck or whatever. Then people raise their hand, then they narrow it down more by saying more stuff. Well IMO EVERYONE lost SOMEONE in the manner theyre guessing! So its not hard to guess and then keep going once someone raises their hand upon the description. Its all about knowing people and practicing IMO.

Otherwise I don't buy it. So Id have to hear someone say they went alone and this person never knew them or met them before and they weren't in a room of people then the person told them only details the dead person and the living person would know, and not something random. Im talking intimate details only the 2 people knew...only then Id buy it...maybe.
