Guess Bethenny Show couldn't be saved by Q "Lifestyle Experts!"

Just read that this show was cancelled - sarcastically I say:

Lifestyle Experts Lisa & David obviously couldn't save the ultimate death of this show...

Never quite understood what qualifies them as Lifestyle experts?

I should add I only watched the show where David dressed as a piece of Bacon ... REALLY!!

After this, I tried to watch but the topics were so out of touch for me ~ I'm not a daytime TV person but even shows like The Talk, Etc. are going "raunchy" guess it sells...

I love the hosts and basis of the show The Chew!

I don't think anyone other than the QVC ""powers that be"" think of these two as lifestyle experts.

Talk shows are a dime a dozen and even some of the most qualified hosts have failed. It's anyone's guess as to why. I give Bethenny kudos for having the courage to give it a shot. I don't think David and Lisa were supposed to 'save' the show; that's a bit too much responsibility for two shopping channel hosts. They were merely guests.

Who said that David and Lisa were to ""save"" Bethenny's show? They were merely guests.

Very few talk shows succeed. Lisa and David were guests. They have no power to save or even tank the show.

Snarky and undoubtedly popular with many here, but not at all relevant to the death of that show.

I doubt most of the real world ever bothered to watch the show. I would never have seen even one episode had it not been advertised on QVC. When I did, it wasn't one with either David or Lisa - I saw no reason to watch beyond the first commercial break the day I tuned in and I never went back for another day. Why would I?

Oh puhhhhleeze. Lisa and David had nothing to do with Bethenny's demise. As someone else stated, this format is difficult and competitive. Many fail. I'm not a huge fan of Bethenny, but I do think she somewhat improved this season. The first show was dreadful and abominable. I saw a few others, and she wasn't that bad.

She had d list "stars" and that didn't help contribute to her "success".

I agree with you Deb.

Talk shows rise and fall on the likeability and talent of the host.

Bethenny was a flop.

Her personal life story was a big downer too.

I would imagine the majority of the US have no idea who David or Lisa are and probably quite a few don't know a lot about Bethanny either.

Outside of QVC, no one knows who either of these hosts are.
