Hello my friends! A beautiful sunny cold day here today - but no snow! We were blessed to just stay home today after our 10:30 Mass. Had a good rest day, Linus is so tired, and did have a hard day today with getting off that addiction of Effixor, but he's determined to do it! Please continue your prayers for him! He'll do it! We're thinking positive! With God's help, we believe he'll be healed of it! Thanks for your prayers. Nothing much new here today, so I'll close with the inspirations:

When you have faith in yourself and God, you will know that you are loved

and safe and never alone. Lord, I am these things because You are always

Scripture for the day:

Meditation for the day:

I believe that my life is being refined like gold in a crucible. Gold

does not stay in the crucible, only until it is refined. I need never

despair or be despondent. I have friends who long for me to be

victorious. If I should err or fail, it could cause pain and

disappointment to them. I can keep trying to live a better life.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may always call on God's strength, while the gold of my

life is being refined. I pray that I may see it through, with God's

help.

Gloria, I was trying to reply a couple of minutes ago and they kept sending me to my account. I even started a new thread. They have been having some problems today. I just got back here and decided to try again low and behold here I am. LOL. I hope Linus is feeling better and I hope your sister Erma heals quickly.

We were supposed to get another 12 inches of snow today but thank the lord we on got maybe an inch. That was a Blessing.

Hello To All!

Very nice Beauty Tips Gloria. Staying home is nice too. I like to rest up and cocoon with my husband. My two cats like it as well.

My blessings are that I happened to enjoy the rain that is so needed in Southern California. I enjoyed having a pizza and a salad with my husband at a 'pizza joint' yesterday with just us two in the booth and some husband wife 'chat'. I had a tiring two weeks behind me and I managed to survive and not be a casualty.

I give thanks daily for this nation, the time we all have here together as her people. We have outstanding troops, strength, generosity, resilience, sharing, and great allies. We are blessed with so much and we have the skills and talents of so many here to make this nation the great one that she is. The love of the universe be yours. Be at peace.

I am having great trouble with my COPD today. It is hard to breath. Please pray.

If I feel better tomorrowI am going to see the movie, the Son of God. Pray I will make it to the movie.
