OMG, I watched once or twice while channel surfing and I couldn't take but a few minutes of the show. I was gagging. Their habits are disgusting. Who would have thought years ago while watching wholesome family shows we would see the day when this sort of thing would be airing.

Nobody is forcing anyone to watch. The country will be just fine with or without honey Boo boo. I think Honey and her family are raking in the money and some people find I it entertaining. IMO, no big deal.

Gazelle, did you actually watch it? These reality shows seem to get progressively more nauseating presumably to keep the audience "entertained". I haven't been able to stomach Hoarders since the first season. Honey BB must be advancing at warp speed into the deadly disgusting.

I saw it for the first time a couple of nights ago and was horrified! I don't understand why that family has a show and why people watch it. Never again for me!!!!!

I think they are encouraged to be disgusting.

They are obviously not cultured people, but I don't think they are nearly as gross as TLC's contrived "story lines."

""Uncultured"" is too nice of a word for it. I don't see good things ahead for Honey. She's getting older and isn't going to be thought of as so ""cute"" anymore.

I agree with you; maybe they couldn't find many people who were actually willing to put on that much of an act and to do it on TV. As you say, they are obviously not cultured people but to act so gross and stupid, it's hard to believe but harder to believe the network would sign a contract for such a disgusting show. But then I have seen the Jerry Springer show a couple of times and these are the kind of people they recruit.

Honey herself, is not cute anymore, just smart mouthed as is the rest of the family, probably even more. If she is like that in real life, just think of the kind of future she faces not only with that mouth but with the certainity of being grossly overweight like her Mom; that is the direction the sisters are going as well. Can you imagine teaching your child to talk and act as Honey does?l Can't imagine what kind of future that child will have unless it's on the Springer show.

as she is getting older, she is just becoming a fat overweight child with no parental guidance.... her parents are people with no education... speaks volume... all of them are just disgusting to watch. Now that does not say that with the show income they probably have more money in the bank than I do LOL!

I saw a small part of this show once and during that short time frame, they apparently owned a pig who was doing his business on their table. That was it for me.
