Who remembers when MTV had non stop music videos? I was just thinking about this and visited You Tube to reminisce. (Thank God for You Tube! lol).

I say the best music video ever was Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer!

there are so many good ones....I always liked the energy of ""Come On Eileen"" by Dexy's Midnite Runners...just makes me happy- WORRSDT video ever: ""Rock Me Tonite"" Billy Squier.. I could NEVER take him seriously after seeing him prancing on the bed like that...

All of the videos mentioned are great..I miss that time with all the freaks too - duran duran, psychedelic furs, adam ant, flock of seaguls... My arss would be a lot smaller if there was a retro mtv marathon!

For pure fun, I always loved 'I Can't Dance' from when Phil Collins was still in Genesis. At the end Robin Williams, and I forgot who else, was in it.

Also, I always loved Lionel Richie's 'Hello'. The video was lovely.

Another favorite was my favorite Cyndi Lauper tune 'Time After Time'. That was a cool video.

Of course 'Thriller', 'Billie Jean', and some of MJ's other videos were amazing.

I cannot even remember any more of them, but there were so many.

There was a video for Heart that I loved ... I won't mention which one ... I ADORED the song. So, one day I was watching MTV and they were going to play the video. I was all excited. I sat to watch and a minute in, I fell off the couch. The love interest in the video was my college crush!! He was rumored to be a model, but he never talked about it. I had him in almost all my classes. He was the shyest person ever, but very sweet and he had the most beautiful blue eyes you ever saw. It was so funny to hear a song I loved and associate it with a person I really knew!!!

Best one I've got is on an 8" LaserDisc and all of the videos on it are done by the Stray Cats. Best one on that LaserDisc for me is "Sleepwalk" as it portrayed part of the Movie "La Bamba". I thought that was a great movie with super superior audio, which is very important to me in any movie, especially those based on music.

Got a 12 CAV LaserDisc of the movie also. LaserDiscs were out years before CD's and many more years before DVD's, yet they are a digital video and audio format.

Two that jumped into my mind are "You can Call me Al," by Paul Simon, and "These Boots are Made for Walking" by Nancy Sinatra.

They both make me laugh and feel happy

Wow, that was something! Cute that he seemed to be modest and not in love with himself, even though he was gorgeous!!!
