Hi all! Is everyone surviving this crazy winter?

Yikes! We've had a lot of snow here in PA! As skiers, we've loved it but are looking forward to spring. Isabella experienced her first taste of winter and I think she's going follow in her momma's footsteps and enjoy all the seasons. How are all of you? I miss checking in on a regular basis but I know all you parents understand how life changes(in a wonderful way) after you add a little one to the mix. Loving life!

Crazy winter...foot of snow last Friday, in the 60's today with a tornado warning.

I'm over negative numbers. Today had really high wind gusts 40+. It was hard keeping the car on the road and it made it bitterly cold.

Hi all! Is everyone surviving this crazy winter?

Nothing crazy about this winter for us in Nebraska. One day it's sunny and 64 degrees and the next day it is snowing and blowing and putting down 2" of snow every hour.

We are all doing just fine in our household when it comes to the weather and not a single one of my hockey players has missed a game because of it. Oh, and the ice rink has not closed this winter because of the weather even though the schools have closed several times.

The kids loved it, no school but lot's of them went public skating at the rink

Hello KKali. Good to see you, dear. I'm glad your baby is doing well and you're happy.

I'm not experiencing any cold weather, but I'm sure those are have just about had enough. We need rain here in So Cal. Lots and lots of rain as a matter of fact. It's warm and dusty around here.

In spite of that, I'm looking forward to spring like so many others.

Here in upstate NY we've had about 3 feet of snow in the last two weeks. I've never seen as much snow on the ground as we have now. My snow plow guy says he's done more business this year than in the four previous years combined, and we MAY get another major storm next week. Right now we're in the middle of a four-five day string of 50 degree days, but it still refreezes at night, so morning driving is very tricky.

It is sunny and in the low 50's here in southern WV. Rain showers mid-week took away all evidence of our last big snow, which measured 14 1/2 inches at my back door. We are to stay mild until Monday, when temperatures drop again, and we experience another polar vortex later in the week. The electric bill came this week, and as expected, it was right at $400; no complaints tho, as we were warm and comfortable during the extreme cold. I pay extra on my power bill all year long to help towards our largest winter bill, so all is still good. March will likely be cold and snowy, and that may be the same in early April, but by mid-April, we should start seeing more sunshine and warming temperatures, with evidence of ground warming. WV has seen a colder winter as was predicted for us.

Hello boby! I live in Buffalo and we've gotten over 92 inches of snow this winter. Some melted in the warmer weather you described, and its sunshine today and very high winds. We will be back in the single digits by the end of next week! We've never had such cold weather to give us -15 and -25 wind chill.

You just can't go outside in that weather. When its 30 and 40's like it was this past week you think Spring is here and people are wearing shorts! Good Luck boby!

Oh, I forgot. There is a lot of snow melting (on these warmer days) and people in West Seneca, NY are in dire straits. Its the second time in a month that the creeks by their homes rose and the water overflowed into their basements big time! Yesterday they got a second dose.

Please pray for these people as they are at the end of their ropes. They are still cleaning up after the first hit a few weeks ago. It was on the news about one couple with water gushing, and I mean gushing into their basement. Everything was lost for these people.

They are looking for help and equipment to move the water out of their neighborhoods.

Say a prayer.

Hi! I have a minute, so I thought I'd check in. Big surprise...we're expecting more snow for Sunday-Tuesday! Like I said before, I love winter but...enough is enough! I hope all of you are safe and warm. I hear the west coast is getting some much needed rain so that's good! Isabella has a new little raincoat and matching boots that I can't wait to put on her! It's pink polka dots and they were gifts from my 2nd graders! How sweet is that?

I hate to admit this, but today in Seattle it was inching towards 60 degrees...beautiful sun, blue skies...I the birds were acting like Spring had come. It was lovely! Suppose to cool off this weekend, but today was amazing!
