I love Arizona...I have never lived there, but been there a few times on vacation- very pretty and no humidity-(that we noticed anyway)

I would like to know also, planning our retirement in about ten more years. I hate the cold and snow. I would like to find a state that is about 60-70+ year round. I don't think that really exists any more. Even the south got slammed this year, and then there are the hurricanes. We still have time to think about it.

I'd have to go with Hawaii. Florida is gorgeous from October - April, but I won't go near the place the rest of the year. Hot, humid and then there's that hurricane potential thing. Michigan is magnificent in the fall and spring, but winter can be brutal.

From talking to several people who have lived in Arizona I think that's got to be it. they said it's gets really hot at times but being it's a dry heat it's not the same as a humid heat. I know I would never choose Florida with all the storms and they still have a lot of fairly cold weather and the summers can be really unbearable unless you stay indoors with air conditioning.

San Diego, CA. I have been there many times. I was just there in Jan. and it was 70 degrees.

Last August when I was there it was well over 100 in Vegas and it was 80 in San Diego.

I honestly wish I could afford to live there.

What lenapecci said......Hardly ever rains... and no humidity.

I said that to somebody one time and they told me to go stick my head in the oven and come back and tell them if it was hot or not..dry heat may not have humidity but it is still hot they said...especially in AZ with the dry temps in the triple digits lol..

California (Southern) definitely. Florida is too humid. Hawaii is too far away from the Mainland.

My first husband lived in hawaii with his first wife - he would agree with you. He said the weather was consistantly never hot or cold - always comfortable. But they do have a rainy season.
